The forge had a fantastic atmosphere with great music and great friendly customers, the staff were also lovely which was a main reason for why it would be the first pub I visit on my return. Adam & Cal

Best pint of Guinness in town, good acoustic sessions, upstairs is basically a living room, you wont leave it until they stop serving in the small hours, its somehow impossible to do! definitely worth a visit if looking if on holiday, you wont find many pubs like it
Great spot. Always fun, welcoming and exciting, full of conversation and friendly characters. Would certainly say it's the best and most enjoyable core part of Donegal Nightlife!
Called into the Forge last night and was delighted that the brilliant Tanya McCole was playing. What a voice! Great crack as usual and the open fire is a real bonus. Best kept secret in Donegal.
Had another great night at the Forge last weekend. Didn't realise there was an upstairs section but there was a darts match going on in one upstairs room and another group hanging out in a really chilled out lounge room with big comfy sofas. Downstairs was busy with a great mix of people of all ages. I got a spot...

Well maintained inside, full of information and atmosphere of it's own time. We liked the garden and the toilet the most. If U go there U will see why. :-)
Love this place. Small, cozy, great pints, great music. Joe the owner will keep you in crack all night. Just what a pub should be like!
