Beautiful. So much to see in this place. Can't wait to see how much money they raise from the online auction next week to aide in restoration.

Beautifull place, lovely energy. Something special about this place. I go in now and again and light a candle even though I'm not religious it's a very peacefull place to find a bit of time out from the world.
The Cathedral is beautiful but you need to get a guided tour to hear the history behind it. The tour guide is passionate about the Cathedral, he speaks clearly, is very informative and seems happy to answer any questions. There is so much history to take in I will be going back for a second tour.
As one would expect, I think, as a small city, Cork has a relatively small cathedral. However, I think the overall experience of visiting here is one of the best cathedral visits I've had. Some people complain about the entrance fee (5 EUR) however, I don't mind paying a little bit as I know it is quite expensive to keep...

This church had gorgeous architecture, stained glass windows, and was full of history. The whole location is picturesque.
The church was something great to see in Cork, you can see the top of it when you over look the city- it isnt hard to spot but the culture on the church is amazing with the different meanings of each part....there is a fee if you wish to have a look inside the church and have a tour.
Visited this church for the first time ever back in Sept 12. It is a beautiful church with alot of history attached. While I was there a service for all the deceaseds was going on at the side aisle and it was very sombre. Worth a visit anytime
I may be alone in my judgment that St. Fin Barre's Cathedral did not stand out. It is a beautiful, historic building, and there are some interesting facets to it, but I rather enjoyed the originality of other churches that we visited in and around Cork. It would perhaps be more impressive to visit after the organ restoration is completed.
A beautiful cathedral steeped in history. The lady who worked there was so so helpful and knowledgeable. She gives you a great introduction and will happily answer any questions and is keen to make visitors feel welcome. Literature is basic but very informative. The cathedral is a short walk from Grand parade so easy to get to. Well worth a...

Well attended service with a nice welcome, and it was lovely to listen to the choristers singing. It looked very big on the outside, but is smaller on the inside.
