As several recent reviews, the castle is undergoing renovations and it's nearly impossible to take a picture of it from the outside that doesn't feature bright green scaffolding or a portaloo. The renovation company has made absolutely no concession for tourism so I would strongly recommend you either wait until reservations are done or manage your expectations accordingly. This review... Nice castle for sure, not huge, but the setup around the water and the bridge makes for great pictures. from far, they were doing construction on it which is kind of an eye sore, seemed like it has been like that for a while. We didn't seem to spend more than about 30 minutes or so though in the castle.

I have heard and read so much about this Castle and when visited it was very disappointing. It is currently undergoing some renovations, which is understandable, but overall it was not a great visit or impressive place to visit. So, I would regard it as a very average place to stop and visit.
