This is a real hidden spot in County Antrim. These beech trees were planted in the 18th century and is is compelling landscape when you see it. I think it is one of the most photographed natural phenomena in Northern Ireland...although we had this entire street to ourselves on a Monday afternoon. Fantastic for photographs. NOTE: if you have a... More

On a bright day there is little more beautiful than this hidden gem. Find it / enjoy it. Stunning! Hopefully, like us you will have it to yourselves. Shhh...

Hopefully this gem stays as unknown as it currently is. Beautiful tree lined road pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It was deserted other than Ione other car when we went and we had the road to ourselves after about 10 minutes. It was gorgeous; grab a GPS and go check it out for yourself.

We were very keen to see this (ancient) tree lined avenue. I thought it was lovely, my husband thought it was so-so. So how much you enjoy this litle detour depends on whether or not ancient trees are your thing. Needs signage desperately. We only got there because we found a very friendly Irish farmer who showed us the way.

This is not a tourist attraction - I hope it stays that way. If the needy tourist is catered for it would only spoil it. Don't expect signage, carparks or cafes. It is simply a road with trees on either side. The trees are just doing what they do best, and few do it better. If this isn't your sort... More

We visited in early May and the Trees were not in full bloom, would imagine they are fantstic in a few weeks time. Well worth the diversion on the way to Ballintoy from Belfast.

Brilliant. It really is a special place, haunting and seems unique. Highly recommend. Needs signage badly. Lovely

Nice stop for a quick walk and photo op, though it was very difficult to find. Our GPS did not recognize the road name and nearly all of the roads in the area were not marked, so I would recommend bringing a good map with you. However, google maps also get the location slightly wrong (if you type in post... More
