Whilst on the Train to Belfast from Dublin for the day, I was aware that I had some spare time between when my Train was due to arrive & my trip to the Titanic Museum, which was booked for 2pm. Was looking on Trip Advisor for recommended things to do in Belfast, & came across Paddy Campbell's Black Cab Tours,... More

Many thanks to our driver Eugene and his gorgeous 18 year old black cab (Lillie or Lily?) for this amazing and very informative tour. Definitely the best way to see Belfast and the murals. We would take this tour again! But only with Paddy Campbell's Belfast Famous Black Cab Tours.

We had a very knowledgable tour guide take us to some of Belfast's infamous spots. Delivered in an unbiased way we got a genuine insight into what happened when and why. Taking a cab tour beats the bus equivalent because you get right into the streets and terraces that provided the backdrop to the troubles. Always interesting, sometimes challenging, definitely... If you only manage to do one thing in the city go for this. It was a dreadfully wet day and our guide Damien showed us all the key sites from the comfort of his black cab. He had an unbiased story to tell and enhanced the tour with pictures from his ipad.

Our hotel manager at Duke's suggested and arranged this tour for us and It was great. We only spent one day in Belfast but we really got a sense of the struggles happening up there, it is truly sad. There are many taxi tour companies that impersonate Paddy and try to steal his business so make sure you get the... More

After arranging a time over the phone Paddy was waiting for us at the station. We found the tour to be fascinating - Paddy was informative yet impartial. There really is no other way to see the real Belfast - get it booked you won't be disappointed. Excellent value for money :)

Can't say enough how enlightening this was. Our guide/driver was terrific, gave us an impartial history of the "troubles". I admit to feeling like I should have done some homework before we arrived in Belfast, and will be doing some reading when we get home. It is well worth the time and money. I would take this tour again.

Our B&B host suggested that we might want to take a tour with "Paddy's" to obtain an appreciation of Belfast's history of troubles. Our driver was excellent as he presented an unbiased view of the many encounters between the Nationalists and the Loyalists throughout time. We certainly obtained the "Coles Notes" version of events that will necessitate further reading into... More

We had a great and informative time in the cab. John Campbell picked us up from our hotel and off we went. The weather was rainy but it didn't matter. All the memorials and murals on the walls and houses and the 40 foot walls themselves were both astounding and terrifying at the same time. Our hearts go out to... More
