The old museum was very tiny but had a lovely ambience. This, to me, is cold and sterile and way overpriced. Only went the once and wouldn't go back to be honest.

Building is a great backdrop for the museum exhibitions. Open archaeological site on display is a great concept. This new attraction in Chichester is well worth a visit. The museum also houses the tourist information and so the shop has a good range of books and leaflets. There is a library which is useful for people wanting to study the area or do their own research.

trying to be like the saatchi gallery, expensive and lacks atmosphere...bring back the lovely old place with the local history!
