I didn't know the play before hand, so some of the roles that were swapped or conflated were lost on me -- instead, I just enjoyed a high-energy, intense, and unique theatre experience.
The role of Richard the Bast*rd is played by a woman, and the director has introduced a romantic element between her character and John. It works in...

We visited The Swan last night to see King John and rarely have I enjoyed the theatre so much. We were sat in Gallery 1 in seats B22 and B23 and have the most magnificent views. It's true the seats are a little uncomfortable but for the view it's definitely worth it and you have the option to stand and...

I love this theatre! There are no bad seats - even if you're standing... It is intimate and done in the style of an Elizabethan indoor theatre. I think it is absolutely the best place in the world to see Shakespeare.

Went to see Romeo and Juliet in Baghdad. which was a brilliant play, well produced and acted. First time i have been to this theatre and i was quite impressed.

Pay extra and go for the ground floor - some of the seats are downright uncomfortable. You literally have to lean forward for the entire play.

We booked tickets via the website a few weeks in advance and managed to get seats on the side in the second row which were quite good and great value compared to what you’d pay in London. Generally...

Not often performed but this production is lively and thought provoking. Preview night but performance still polished!

I think the Swan is nicer than the RSC as the seating view is less obscured on some of the back seats, you also feel part of the play.
