Hi and thanks so much for taking the time to give us your feedback, which is genuinely valuable and always welcomed! I’m so pleased you enjoyed our duckery talk. The specialist work that we do here - breeding and rearing rare and endangered waterbird species - is a year-round job that our aviculture expert Owen is hugely passionate about, and... More

Went here on two days while in the area and enjoyed both days. One of the smaller centres at 130 acres but this is well worth a day trip out for you and the family. Food is excellent though slightly expensive but decent plate of good home cooked food.

Used to come here when my older children were small as, if you've a membership card, its a great mornings walk - see the birds, play in the park for free. Great value across the year: this isn't just a summer venue. Now I've a new little the older kids get to go again and show off their knowledge -... More

Hello there and a massive thank you for posting such a brilliant review! You’ve summed up really well one of the many benefits of being a member – a potential 364 days out a year, when you can visit us whatever the weather or season and there’ll always be something to see or do. Plus, as a charity, the money... More

Fab day out for families with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lots of different birds to see as well as feeding the otters ! Different walks mean you could go again and see other things. It was easy to go just for the afternoon or we could have filled a whole day.

Hi there and thank you so much for taking the time to review us! You’re so right about being able to see different things each visit, as our highlights constantly change with the seasons (although I’m not sure where summer has gotten to this year!?) and I’m so pleased to read that you find our staff ‘very friendly and knowledgeable’,... Hard to believe this little haven is just outside an industrial estate, but you really are out in the countryside with beautiful walks and loads of camera/photo opportunities. I go there once a month in all weathers. Its just a nice place to go with a nice walk amongst our feathered friends.

Hello and many thanks for your excellent review. It’s great to hear that you get so much from visiting us and we genuinely wouldn’t be able to do what we do without such loyal support. We also like to think of ourselves as something of an urban gem, given our immediate surroundings, which you’ve described perfectly! See you again soon... More

This is a really good place to visit for both young and old. Great layout, lots and lots to see, you can buy food to feed the birds, which children absolutely love. Staff are very informative with regular talks and games. Hides are strategically placed all around for you to view. You can take a picnic or they have a... More

This is a large site with a lot of feathered friends to see- you can easily spend a few hours here. It's nicely landscaped too, with large lakes and bird hides. There are a couple of nice walks to do around the perimeter, if you have a child that doesn't mind walking. Bird seed is available for those who like... More

I will own up to being a little bias about this attraction as it is on my doorstep, but this is an attraction that constantly evolves and never disappoints. The way the walks are set out, you can loose yourself for just a couple of hours, but head for the longer trails, taking your picnic and water and your full... More

Visit on Thursday and get corned beef pie(no horse). Even in our present freezing weather there are always sheltered walks. The staff are always cheerful and helpful. It's nice to sit on one of the many benches and be joined by friendly geese.

Hello and thank you for your lovely review. It's always great to hear feedback, especially positive comments from an intrepid visitor who will get outdoors whatever the weather! Many thanks for taking the time to write a review following your visit today. I've passed your kind comments on to our (very pleased!) catering team.
