addmission was £3.75 and as i had gone there to take photos it was a cheap afternoon out,its only a small attraction but there are plenty of butterflys, caterpillars, etc to capture plus there are a few meerkats and some reptiles.

A great place to visit with children, plenty to see which children will find fascinating. Worth the entrance fee just to see the Meerkats.

We had our 6 year old nephew staying over and so a trip to Butterfly world was on the agenda. He absolutely loved it and actually I'm not sure whether he or my husband enjoyed it more. There was a great variety of butterflies, reptiles, koi carp and meerkats to keep us entertained and the nephew had a field day... More

we made a 80 mile round trip to take our granddaughter to see the butterflies. the website states open from March. the doors were locked and the sign just said closed. no times or dates or anything. the girls in the little museum in the same area of Preston Park didn't seem surprised. But they made up for the lack... More
