“Excellent civic space”

Huge wooden sprung dance floor, used in Northern Soul movies to depict a bygone era, but all sorts of other concerts and promotions take place. A sense of history very evident although a fairly recent re-furbishment was very welcome !

This imposing building is home to the Council Chamber, Mayoral parlour and some of the civic offices. It is between The Kings Hall and Civic Centre. The Jubillee Hall is upstairs.
