The venue still has the old Victorian look. The sound is good. Viewing is excellent and the seats are comfortable. The drinks are expensive and there are long queues. Parking is just outside. This venue is under used.

Used in Northern Soul films / videos to resemble the legendary Wigan Casino, this hall has a huge sprung, wooden dance-floor, has a seated balcony and is adjacent to a huge car park as well as bars and restaurants, so if you're ever invited to a function here, perhaps turn up an hour or two early and have a wander...

I have seen bands here and been to shows it is also the destination for toy run at Christmas lovely building

The Kings Hall is famous for many of the events that it holds. It is a regular venue for Northern Soul all-nighters but is also a regular wedding venue and has music and boxing nights. It has a capacity of between 800-1400. You need to look up at the incredible ornate plasterwork
