Lovely old theatre. The quality of the performances are always good and at reasonable good prices. The atmosphere is always good in this old theatre.

I have been to several performances at the Theatre Royal and have never been disappointed. The staff are always polite and friendly, the seats are a reasonable price and you can quite often see productions before they hit the west end.

This is a great theatre with good staff and an excellent range of performances. We went to see Ayckbourn's play and had a great night. Staff were friendly and helpful but the bar prices are exorbitant! We went to a local pub in the interval rather than pay the inflated prices. Great night - great performances but not cheap.

This was the Ustinov attached to the Theatre Royal. Small theatre showing 4000 miles. Good play, set wonderful although would have liked some clearer idea of time period, i.e. days, weeks months plus pehaps more of and ending as it was a bit open ended. No interval which was a bit painful as the seats in the circle do not... More

We visited in April 2013 to watch a performance on a Friday night. We had fairly central seats in the Dress Circle which gave a fabulous view of the stage. Be aware though that .leg room on the front row (Aisle A) of the Dress Circle has restricted leg room. Also, there are columns at certain points which could restrict... More

When we arranged a couple of months ago to stay in Bath we wanted to book tickets to see Flavia Cacace and Vincent Simone in Midnight Tango, and were disappointed to find that they had sold out within a few hours of going on sale. We subsequently noted the Sold Out sign as we walked past the theatre during our... More
