I have just spent two hours in a small group of 9 with Mark and his birds. The first hour was walking by the wood flying the Harris Hawk and it coming to our fists in turn. Tilly and Lucy the dogs provided entertainment along the way. Then we went into the classroom and handled owls and a falcon and... More

A wonderful experience watching the Harris Hawk do its thing. The bird has intelligence, incredible agility and a sense of humour. Mark is very knowledgeable and has an easy, relaxed manner. A really good afternoon out. Go and do it. It's uplifting.

I took my disabled sister for a hawk walk for her birthday and was utterly blown away by how good it was. The owner and falconer Mark was incredibly accomidating and wonderful with my sister. Walking a round a private wood with a Harris Hawk flying onto our waiting arms from places unseen as we walked around was breathtaking! Mark... More

We wanted to do something different at the weekend and came across the Bird of Prey experience at Battlefield Falconry Centre. What a great couple of hours we had!! First hour flying a Harris Hawk (Khan) under the supervision of falconer Mark, and super-energetic dogs Tilly and Lucy! Second hour in the classroom with three different owls from the centre... More

Its incredible to have a bird of prey like that so close. We love to take guests there. The birds are fantastic and Khan especially has quite a personality!

We booked a birds of prey experience for my Mom as a Birthday present through Groupon at £19. value of £68. We were a bit put out to find that should anyone wish to accompany her we would have to pay £10 per person. However on reflection it was well worth it. Standard Price of Hawk walk is £35 participant.... More

What an experience - walking through woods north of Shrewsbury and with a bird of prey flying from your arm. A fabulous experience with a knowledgeable owner of the bird of prey. Good value morning out. Tip - wear wellies or similar. Use of cafe and facilities prior to and after the event.

Four of us had the pleasure of the hawk walk with Mark, who is extremely knowledgeable. The hawk, Khan, was great, a real character. He happily flew back to our gloved hands time and time again for his reward of a piece of meat. It was a lovely experience to get that close to the hawk, and I would thoroughly... More

Meeting at the Battlefield Centre we were taken to the woods on the Albrighton Estate where the Battle of Shrewsbury took place and as we drove Mark gave us information about the battle and the estate.
