Brilliant! The best place in the museum is the sweet shop and fish and chip shop! We went a long time ago and it is so much bigger now than it was before. Loads to see and do!
visited the victorian village signposting terrible took nearly an hour to find it the museums are all well signposted but the village is not in the same vicinity so driving round forever ,even the satnav did not locate it. Once there it was ok not many people as it was mid week and so only a couple of demonstrations which...

I can't recommend going to Blists Hill enough; we've been four times or so and it's still fascinating everytime we go. The highlight this time was the candle makers - the lady volunteer told us some history of the site itself, how the buildings were added, where they were moved from; we were in there for ages.

Its just like time travel! Banks, shops, pubs and cafes all serving good quality items. I bought an excellent hand made leather belt that was custom fitted for me. Change modern money into Victorian pennies and buy goods. So much to see, so much to do. The actors are really good and set the mood perfectly. Will definitely go back

They do a fantastic job of giving that impression. Took the kids to the bank first and changed up some money. The staff were very helpful and explained...

The authenticity was of high quality and the fact that the theme stick closely to the history of the area made even more of an impact. It was not expensive,...

Best chips ever! Loved the little steam engines, the Hay incline lift and the Mining experience. Well set up with enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers.
Spent the whole day and still did not run out of things to do. Lots going on and plenty of hands on things to take part in. Knowledgeable staff and volunteers and very interesting to look at how tough life was for those who lived there. Best bit for me was the shire horses - showed how they were harnessed...
