An excellent tour of Oxford Castle where every day life through the centuries was brought to life by our Tour Guide who was very very good.

very good organisation specially for children and the photos are really a must to get your children sentenced with a real view on what was the case not that lo,g ago for below 14 years old children stealing a fruit...

Worth checking out, good views of oxford from the top of the tower the guides in character were good, not too expensive either

Well worth the money, the staff were fantastic, really got into character. The view from the top of the castle was simply beautiful (was quite out of breath getting to the top) I'm very pleased I chose this as an attraction during my visit to Oxford. Enjoyed feeling like a criminal for a few minutes too!

If you are staying at Malmaison next door show your room key and you'll get 10% off admission. The tours are every 20 minutes and you are lead around by costumed tour guides who tell you all about the history of the castle/prison. It's amazing how the prison is turned into a hotel! Three cells were knocked down to make a room. The place was kept as original as possible, with cell doors, the stairs, the gangway, etc. Must visit.
