The Ice Factor, York’s award-winning real ice rink, brings the Christmas magic back this season at York Designer Outlet.With a public viewing area, skate hire marquee and the heated Ice Bar & Café surrounding the 900sqm ice rink, The Ice Factor also offers free parking and over 120 designer and high street brands at up to 60 per cent less right next door. The Ice Factor will be open from 9:30am until 9.15pm from Saturday 24th November 2012 until 6th January 2013, and is conveniently located on the A64/A19 interchange. Tickets for a one-hour session cost £9.75 for adults and £8.75 for children and concessions. Discounts apply for groups of 20 or more and special party packages are available. Ice rink - too busy & way over priced!
The fare/bar/stalls - all garbage!
In the shopping centre, why the shops stay open late is beyond me, I feel sorry for the staff having to be there, people weren't there to shop, it's the same every year.
Toilets... Where are the toilets??? You spend 10 mins looking for them??

It's a lovely place to go with your family and friends. It's good for those who are fantastic at skating and those who are only beginners. I go several tims a year and every time with whatever group of people I go with it is a wonderful experience and you have an amazing time.

I have bean 4 times to the ice factor having enjoyed these I went for a 5th time but the ice was broken it was very dangerous and impossible to scate on compared to other ice rinks York is one of the most expensive but that is okay but the service on that night was terrible THEY DID NOT RECTIFY...

Had a look around at the stalls and such like whilst visiting the Designer Outlet. Does seem a little expensive for the stalls and also if stopping in the Ice Bar for food and/or drink. 90p for a can of coke and £2.50 for a small bowl of soup. Maybe it's the Yorkshire in me, but I like value for...

We went on a Monday, made a special trip to the outlet village, and nothing was open apart from the ice skating. Very disapointing. Won't be visiting again.

My daughter really enjoyed her experience here last year and can't wait to go back. Great with been at the Designer Outlet, so you can you do some shopping or grab a bite to eat before or after!!

The ice factor should be back in the centre of york as it will be far better to access for everyone,and by been in the centre of york it is much more accessible.. also every year i have found there is just too many people of the rink at one time. Some people skating around ridiculously fast and cutting people...
