Every time I pass Abbey Road there seems to be someone, or a group, having their photo taken crossing the zebra crossing, emulating the Beatles on their LP cover. Can't help but smile, but residents must get a bit tired of the traffic hold ups.

As Beatles fans we HAD to go to Abbey Road. In the rain. Don't expect much except the famous street crossing, where you and hundreds of others, have to wait patiently for a gap in the traffic if you want a photo. There are photographers there who, for 5GBP will take a polaroid of you - good option if you...

I had to go as I love the Beatles and had to go walk on the same street the fab four walked on. However there was so many people, and cars going past by, thats its really difficult to take a picture of yourself on the road alone. Come with patience
You simply cannot have grown up with the Beatles and not be drawn to Abbey Road Studios and the famous zebra crossing that served as the backdrop for the Abbey Road LP. The studio an iconic part of our zeitgeist and a thrill to see in person especially since great music is still produced there.

South Oxhey Community Choir (in which I sisng) recorded there, Studio 1. It was part of the Gareth Malon Choir TV series. As part of our 'climax' we recorded In my Life, by the Beatles. I didnt realise what a long day it could be. But the insight of the working studio was a wonderful lesson
If you really want to queue up with dozens of other people and try and take your photo on a crossing on a busy road while cars honk at you, then this is the place to come. I am a massive Beatles fan, but there really is nothing to see here. It's just an ordinary zebra crossing. It's busy -...

If you are a music fan, especially of The Beatles, this is a fun stop. It doesn't take much time to get there, or to see. It's awe-inspiring to ponder on all of the great music made in there, and not just by the Fab Four. There is, of course, the zebra crossing, replete with many trying to recreate the...

Amazing how something so common can be turned into an iconic landmark. But walking across this zebra crossing does leave you with a sense of awe. If only I were around when the album photo was taken!
