Loved it, the atmosphere , suspended in time, precisely what ou would expect from an English pub. We had sandiwiches, tasty and quite big portions. Friendly service. Will go back again

We came to the Lamb and Flag for dinner. We went upstairs, so we could have a table. It was quiet upstairs so we missed the pub atmosphere downstairs. We were told the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes. I ordered beef and mushroom pie. The mashed potatoes were great, but the other veggies were luke warm. I could not...

typical old London pub, small, narrow, cosy, dark and lost in time. nowhere to sit though so you have to stand. takes nothing away from it though. real old atmospheric pub.
Always walked past the Lamb & Flag when strolling in Covent Garden as there is a constant milling of personages in the yard outside which leads one to believe that its rammed up inside. However, inclement weather and a later arrival allowed a maiden visit and one was not disappointed. The Lamb & Flag exudes atmosphere from every ancient bean...

Smashing pub in Covent Garden area. Serves great beer, very friendly staff, gets a good crowd in of both locals and tourists.

This is a historic vibrant pub tucked away down a side-street. You really have to know it's here to find it, and you'll definitely get kudos points from your friends for bringing them here. For added dramatic effect approach from Floral Street, and then dive down the covered alleyway.
It captures the essence of a historic pub, not by being...

You could be in the middle of the country or in a rural area with this local and friendly bar.
Food is on offer though sadly we missed the doing time as the menu...

What a treat this pub is. A decent choice of real ales in truly authentic surroundings – it is a real English pub!
I doubt if anything has really changed in this pub and it works so well. If only more pubs had escaped refurbishment like the Lamb and Flag the world would be a better place – at least...
