The area is well managed and kept clean with good toilet facilities. Great for a casual walk, a more nature based walk as well as a fun place to let the kids run free.

Nothing stunning, but quite pleasant. Wide flat beach with interesting sand dunes, inland a mix of grass and pine give a circular walk a little variety. didnt even know this place existed till a friend told me otherwise I would have missed it we went on a freezing sunny day even then it was well worth it the pine forests and dunes are fabulous

Sand dunes to run on, beach to walk on and views to look at - great place for a trip, especially if you have kids and a dog.

Parking is expensive at £5 but a lovely walk through the woods to miles of golden sandy beach. A few more direction signs would be helpful too

It was a lovely wildlife place and very child friendly. There were lots of picnic tables and the toilets were near the entrance which made them easy to find. Saw one red squirrel but from a long distance away, it was at the entrance by the kiosk. Lovely few hours spent there on my way back from Southport.
