If you are going to the Lincoln Christmas Market then make sure you go to the Bishops Palace and have a look around the Medieval Market. It's not run by the same people who organise the main market, so is not advertised well. It's free entry and is open at the same times as the main market, is less crowded... more

went to lincoln christmas market yesterday and it was the day from hell. to say it was overcrowded was an understatement. 100`s of coaches descending on a small city was too much to bear. you could not move. you couldnt even get to the stalls to have look as it was so overcrowded. people pushing and shoving. from what I... more

Have just returned from my second visit to Lincoln Christmas Market and have enjoyed it just as much second time around. Having looked forward to the visit with positive reviews noted on this website, I was very disappointed. The Lincoln Xmas Market is a brilliant way to welcome in the Xmas season. Yes it gets very busy, but that tells you something about the popularity of it.
