The pier itself is lovely, and had such a fabulous day, until a stall vendor duped my sister. You cut string and whatever that is attached to you win. Sounds simple doesn't it, 1 go for £3 or 2 goes for a £5, the guy who runs it moves some string away, leaving you only to cut string of really... More

Kids had a great day, not very clean, was a little worried about my car being left, although it was ok when we returned. Great value for money. A little repetitive - stuck in the 80's.

Too much closed for May - expected holiday season to be in full flow. Disappointing especially for the CENTRAL pier!

I wen to black pool with my boyfriend and his parents for the bank holiday weekend and the weather was lovelly. We stayed in a hotel opposite this pier so we was always on in. The big wheel was really good, and a few other rides. There was loads of amusements and I won a few teddies. It could do... More

The rides are good and if you go on the big wheel you can get a great view of Blackpool and some great photos. However as someone previously stated it is a bit on the expensive side and some stall holders do shout at you to play their games but a polite 'no thanks' does the trick. My one big... More

As with all of the piers they are looking a bit tired now. If fact the whole of the front of Blackpool i.e shops etc are in need of a facelift.

Found Blackpool to be quite different to how I had imagined......visited on a cold windy March day and yet had the best time. The promenade is lovely and worth all the money that has been spent rejuvenating it, enjoyed a nice very long walk, some shopping and fish n chips - all in all a good day and will be... More

Couldn't walk over the pier without being bombarded with people wanting us to play the games to win teddies. Scamming you out of money. Sometimes the same people would ask again and again. It became very pressurising, to the point where we became angry and left. The prices for the rides were also far too expensive.

It all looks tired and needs refreshing. The stall holders are friendly though. The kids liked it and we will be back.

After years of seeing the same acts in a different order, finally, the pier has spiced things up with a new line-up. Room and staff are still good and the new show is outstanding. With a new company in charge, I'm guessing that next year, Rod Stewart isn't doing Stevie Wonder too.
