What a great day my family had when we visited the museum it was really interesting a day to be remembered.

Visited this Museum on Heritage open day, as the Museum will not be open to the public until 2014. Shown round by enthusiac supporters, explaining all the exhibits. The refurbishments are costing £10M, so they need all your help.

a place to visit in the rain not very big buy your tickets for here and steam train together save money

We went ot check out the Steam boat museum to see if the repairs and renovations being done in 2008 have been completed. Unfortunately the November 2009 floods have had a shocking effect on the place. it is still closed and a visit to the Windermere Tourist Information centre by the railway station informed me that the attraction has just...
