Beach is a lovely yellow sand and looks to be cleaned and levelled daily. Great to run on and cycle beside on tarmac Prom that goes to Sandbanks to theWest and Southbourne to the East. great sunny days spent here, miles of sand, avoid the crowded pier areas. spend time either at boscombe chine or further towards poole and sandbanks beaches for best areas wih kids and large crowds.

Long sandy beach, good for surfing, though not my thing.I walked along the coast for 3 hours. Bit short on shelter if it rains. Nice pier.

Clean & sandy beach looked as if it was cleaned every day. Easy walk down and a great ride up in the beach 'lift'. Well worth a visit

BEAUTIFUL COAST LINE AND BEAUTIFUL BEACH - lots of things to do. brilliant for families. My daughter loved it down there we will definately be visiting again.

Lovely hot summers day, picnic on the beach with the family, realaly good day out, just like when we were kids.
