Excellent place to walk the dog, beautiful scenery and walk down to the beach, very busy though at sunny times

Surprisingly good, my bacon sandwich was just as it should be, a couple of crisp rashers between 2 slices of fresh bread. Most of the cakes are home made, the cherry & cranberry oat cake was amazing. Top tip: take a ride on the land train afterwards to Mudeford Harbour, some great vistas to be had along the way.

We had a great day visiting Hengistbury head the little train that takes you down through the wooded area to the beach huts is great fun, this is a real must for visitors to Bournemouth

In the summer parking can be a problem as the car parks fill up very quickly. Arrive early and this shouldn't be a problem. If you do make it there during the day you can take a walk up over the raised headland, once an Iron Age fort with views to the IoW to the east and Old Harry Rocks... More

We have been several times and taken friends for pub lunch at Mudeford,short ferry trip,intesting beach huts and excellent walk which is not too long,easily navigated and good views. Well worth doing.
