lovely attraction with lots of different species of animals to see. very enjoyable, although after about an hour you have seen it all, so maybe as a family of 5 it was little bit overpriced as we paid over £40 to enter and was only there for an hour, but it was a very enjoyable place and the children loved... Good value attraction on the coast, go along and see the penguins being fed at lunchtime! Learn about the impact man has on sea life.

This little gem was so much more than I expected. Coming from a small seaside town I expected this to be a very small attraction with little to see. We spent hours here just watching the animals and reading all the information. The staff were very friendly and informative. We loved how the penguins could wander about freely and how... More

We booked the Living Coast and Paignton Zoo and made a good saving booking in advance. The place is tidy, we'll routed and interesting throughout. The Puffins were my favourite but the seals, penguins and terns were great too. The staff friendly and knowledgable. The shop was inexpensive and well presented. A really good 2-3 hours.

When walking down by the harbour we saw this huge net with birds flying about so went to investigate and came across this place. Inside we saw these peguins just walking about all over this area as we entered and saw the burrows were some were nesting. Loved all of it and learning about the birds different way of living.

Visited here without major expectations. How often do you go to these sort of places only to find them a poor excuse to sell overpriced trinkets? Not here though (although plenty of overpriced trinkets). It really is a delight and so different from anywhere I have been before. What it does is to take to right up close and personal... More

Brilliant little attraction to spend half a day at. The free roaming penguins are the best bit, and you need to make sure you go at feeding time (currently 10.30 and 2.30) to ensure you get to see them quite active. They all had a quirky character about them, such as Pepper going through the first malt and Solly the... More

Had a fab time here and would say you have to go. No need to travel far as its right on the harbour in Torquay. Good Value for money.

Nothing special, you wouldn't be disappointed if you missed it, however the children or coastal lovers would appreciate it

We love Living Coasts, so much so that we have booked our wedding there! We visit every time we're staying in Torquay. Firstly the location is stunning. The concept and exhibit are ethical and conservation focused. Of course, the best bit is the free roaming penguins. On this visit, Solly, a hand reared Macaroni penguin was sat on the decking...
