Set in one of the oldest buildings (maybe the oldest?) in Lynton, this little museum is stuffed full of interesting artifacts.
Don't expect pristine exhibits in shiny museum cases -it's a much more 'home-spun' experience than that. But it is a true reflection of the lives of the people this museum represents: ordinary working folk who lived in a time...

Museum is a bit sad. Needs a good overhaul. Exhibits are interesting, but some signs are upside down and just cannot be read. Entrance fee us steep given the rather downtrodden atmosphere.

very informative enjoyed learning about the history of the flood that happened which must have been devastating to the area. It's amazing how they have built it back up it is so pretty there.

Lynton's charming small museum with Lynton & Barnstaple Railway exhibits, Lynmouth Flood Disaster 1952, a rural kitchen and tool room just some things on display.
