Visited this farm/activity centre with three and half year old grand daughter on a drizzly Saturday. She really enjoyed all the activities especially all the indoor activities including sand pits and bouncy castle and the young man who did a lot of the presentations of lamb feeding and crafts was excellent with the young children. I was slightly disappointed by... More

We went here when on holiday in March so the weather on the day was bright but cold. We took a couple of five years old with us. In all we had a very good day and as we had to get 'our stamps' we went to each organised event. It was great to see the animals up close and... More

I went to pennywell on Tuesday for my nephews birthday and the whole family had a great day! the staff were very good helpful and friendly. The whole place was clean free from litter and all the animal's pens looked clean. the deer had a big space and room to move about in and all the animal's look as if... More

Let me start by saying the place and the staff are fantastic! Its a great day out, roughly 30 quid for 2 adults and one child. Worth every penny. I would suggest that you take a packed lunch as the food at the place is not very good. Chips, pasty, beans, well cardboard chips, pasty with very little filling and... More

Out of all the 'attractions' I've visited in the UK this must be my favourite. Really good value for a day out if you're big or small Last summer my friends and I went along to pennywell (all early twenties) it was during school time so the farm was fairly quiet. I think it's fantastic how you can get in... More

My sister and I came to Pennywell for the day in March and although the weather was terrible we had a fantastic day! This is a must for children of any age. There are so many interactive things to do and we bottle fed 2 day old lambs, had cuddles with baby goats and the best part of all cuddles... More

My 3 yr old granddaughter and I have just returned from a trip to Pennywell Farm! We are both shattered but happy. The weather was lovely which of course helps a lot but we have both had such a great time. Every half hour throughout the day there are supervised but interactive things to do mostly involving the animals...goat milking,egg... More

Spent the day here at Easter, and yes you do need a whole day, so get there early! Lots of great hands on activities, including the usual farm ones, bottle feeding lambs, milking goats, holding range of animals including pigs and pet feeding. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and enthusiastic which the kids loved. The only extras were pony... More

I recently went to Pennywell farm with my hubby and 2 excited 5 year olds. Well we nearly didn't go - we had looked at the literature and thought we must have a sunny day or we weren't going to go - mistake thought no 1! It is a great place rain or shine and bonus if it does rain... More
