visited this garden while on holiday and it was lovely to walk around and see the different plants, trees etc. Lovely to look at the fish in the pond. Lots of plants in nursery to sell but i found them to be overpriced. If a keen gardener you would love it. Good admission price.
We passed through on our way to st ives as I thought it would appeal to my other half. It is an interesting garden with mature acers and bamboo and very tranquil but the planting is quite limited and my partner lost interest because of this. Also the plants for sale are quite overpriced and look a little undercared for,...

What an interesting place. Although we went before the leaves were out so we didn't get to see the Japanese maples in all their glory, nevertheless it was a good experience. I loved the nooks and crannies, the tranquillity, all the mosses and bamboo.
The shop had a lot of things to buy and the lady was very helpfull and...

Took the bus to this hidden away gem. Shop is really interesting with many oriental products. Even in winter, enjoyed landscaping and bonsai collection A hot drink would have been a welcome addition on a freezing cold day!
I webt there to buy a bonsai plant for my flat while visiting Newquay. After choosing a japanese elm plant (£25) I asked for care advise and to my geniue suprise I was advise not to buy it as my flat won't be a suitable place to grow it. I found it very refreshing to come across such honest sellers...

This is a small, pretty, Japanese garden. Nice to visit when the weather is warm & dry. They have lots of Bonsais to see & to buy. It is set in the little village of St. Mawgan, a few miles from Newquay.
