Chester Zoo is the UK’s number one charity zoo, with over 7000 animals and 400 different species, including some of the most endangered species on the planet. With more than one million visitors every year, the zoo is an all-year round full day visitor attraction for everyone.We are open daily from 10am, except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Car parking is free and on site. Facilities for disabled visitors, including self-drive electric scooters and wheelchairs.

Plenty to do and see here, you will find it almost impossible to see everything in one visit. It's not cheap, but you can take a picnic with you as there are plenty of areas provided for you to eat and drink. make sure you get a map when you go through the gates as you are bound to get...

Its expensive to get in, the prices all have a donation included unless you ask specifically not to pay it. Its expensive to eat and drink - 1.90 for an apple juice. the monorail was £5.50 for 2 adults and a child and only takes you half way round the zoo on a single trip. I appreciate the zoo has...

The Zoo is well planned out. You can easily spend the day here and not manage to get to see everything.
Loving the tiger cubs and the elephant calves at the moment.
Souvenir shop is overpriced.
Take a packed lunch as there are loads of indoor and outdoor places to sit and eat it.

Myself and 8 other family members visited Chester zoo on Saturday,we really enjoyed the day.the problems were when we arrived we were told where to park,it was really muddy,so we all ended up with filthy shoes all day,not a good look,we went to the cafe,it cost me £15.50 for two sandwiches 2 coffees and a portion of chips,a bit over...

Brilliant. Really enjoyed the day. Took a coach trip for the day. Really good experience, plenty to see and do. Everyone enjoyed, adults and children alike. Would definately go back again.

We all loved it from the time we arrived. There is lots of parking space so no problem to park the car. The tickets are a bit expensive at £18 an adult & £14 child. At the entrance there is elephant enclosure & then there are lots of other animals. They have a dinosaur exhibition with really big size dinosaur...
