We have just spent a wonderful half day, in the woods. Walking from Aston Clinton up Dancers Lane where water runs uphill, up the side of Aston Hill past the National off road bike trails area and into the woods fully. I have lived in Wendover most of my life, and you find when you do lots of walks and rambling around the woods you never seem to make the same walk twice! My children partner and I love to start at the park, and then walk up the Snakey, not sure if thats the paths real name but it lives... More

A great wood although having to pay to park is a downer - surely a wood is a natural place that should be free to all? having said that, if the price is going for conservation there i don't mind. In autumn this huge wood is beautiful and also the tree lined roads leading to Wendover.Worth just the drive alone... More

Wendover Woods in Mid-February. It was a cold wet day, and instead of staying indoors, my partner and I went for a walk in the Wendover Woods, it was great.
