Cameron Lake is one of the most beautiful places you are ever likely to see in your life period. There is a nice trail around the lake for an easy hike. Not to be missed.

If you have ever driven to Cameron Lake in the summer, you will know that it is a site worth the effort to get there. Many don't realize though, that you can have an amazing experience if you go there in the winter. (I would recommend March or April when I say winter as the light and temperatures are reasonable...)... More

We live quite close to Waterton, so Cameron Lake is a regular day trip for us. We love this lake, it's at high altitude and can be a little cool in Spring and Autumn so take a sweater. The road to the lake is closed in winter. You can rent a canoe, kayak or pedal thingy, but it is SUPER... More

We went snowshoeing to Cameron Lake. Very nice packed trail. Was not windy at all. Lots of other people on trail. Beautiful day.

Oh this lake!! Although there is often a lot of visitors to trip over at the lake it is lovely to rent a canoe and troll out the the middle for a peaceful view of the lake. The walk around the lake is easy and relaxing and worth doing and the lake itself is truly one you won't want to... More

Whether you drive to the lake and enjoy a stroll around the lake, or cross country up to the lake in the winter, it is a place worth going to. The drive up to the lake is beautiful and enjoyable. The lake itself is a great place to find birds, take the kids for a stroll, or rent a canoe... More

It doesn’t take too long to drive up to this beautiful lake and the car parking area is right next to the shoreline. Here you can buy an ice-cream, hire a boat or sit on the water’s edge with spectacular views across the water to the far shore which is in the United States and the mountains behind. Definitely worth... More

We love the drive up to Cameron. The far end of the lake is in the USA. You can rent a canoe or paddle boat but they are quite expensive, or bring your own.The parking lot /offloading zone is a short way to the lake and paved for easy access. This is a fun place to picnic or there are... More

This is quite a cold lake being up higher in the mountains and the drive up to it is quite breathtaking. You may want to take a canoe or paddle boat to this one.
