It is a wooden boat museum with many gorgeous boats and history of the old resorts. Very knowledable volunteer guides with great stories of Muskoka way back when, Lots of fun for kids and well as older folks. WHile there be sure to book a trip on the Segwun at Mukoka Steamships, just a short walk along the boardwalk

A must to see the Muskoka Heritage while visiting Gravenhurst. Its only 4.2 Klm from our B & B Days at the lake right on hwy 11 towards Bala

The Heritage Centre is a must see if you like old boats and the history of Muskoka. It is located in Gravenhurst, about 30 miles south of The Rosseau Hotel in Minett. Very interesting exhibits about the history of the area and child friendly. Also features a super boat house. Our 9 year old was enchanted.

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding at the Muskoka Boat & Heritage Centre on October 15 2011. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The venue was original and decorated very nicely. The bar staff was quick and efficient and dinner was very good and served very nicely. Overall I would reccomend it to anyone looking for an original...
