I'm a photographer who takes photos for a whale watch company in Maine. I typically go on 70-100 whale watches each season. I recently had occasion to visit St. Andrews, N.B., Canada and decided to try out the whale watch trip from Quoddy Link Marine. These guys were great. The boat is roomy and very stable. They limit the number... More

My trip on Quoddy Link was an amazing time. I was able to see 2 species of whales, 2 species of seals, porpoises and all sorts of interesting birds! The guides were knowledgable and enthusiastic and willing to answer any questions. The touch tank and piece of real whale baleen they brought around was really informative and fun! All in... More

This was an informative tour. We do a quite a bit of whale watching and the young man on top deck was full of information. The day was extremely foggy, but the captain really navigated his way all over the Bay to find the least amount of fog for us. We saw seals hauling out, and had a good view... More

We arrived in Saint Andrews on Saturday with a plan to take a Zodiak whale watching tour. As good luck would have it, the Zodiak was broke down and we ended up on the Quoddy Link for a three hour tour. The weather wasn't super but one Minke whale in particular was enjoying it and gave us a great show... More

We took this tour because it seemed to be highly rated and was a catamaran. It would have been hard to choose on the spot since there are several tours that are all in the same area of the wharf and where the prices are similar. The staff was friendly and helpful and seemed to be knowledgable about the marine... More

Completely surpassed all our expectations. Firstly this seems to be the best boat to go on. A great mix of comfort and speed. All the other boats left 30 mins before us, we caught them up, then we stayed longer than them all. We went on the evening, 5.30 trip. Staff were all great, knowledgable and helpful. Beautiful flat calm... More

Makes me sad to read everyone's glowing reviews with all the sightings of whales, when we didn't get to see a single thing on our trip out into the Bay. So just so you know it does happen that the marine life doesn't always cooperate, but the good news is this company believes in customer service and they refunded half... More

It is always a gamble looking for any wildlife but in the deep, dark waters of Fundy Bay, it could be almost impossible. Theses guys have it figured out with equipment! We saw lots of whales, porpoises, eagles and seals. The catamaran is very smooth, powerful and protected in the cabin if you get cold. Wear layers of clothes and... More

The boat we had originally booked cancelled on us due to weather, so we popped into a neighboring office and found Quoddy Link was still going out. The staff was amazing and knowledgable!! We must have seen 50 whales surface -- the captain also toured us around 2 small islands one with seals and one with birds. Very worthwhile and... More

The captain and staff were very friendly. They even offered crackers with salmon dip and hot chocolate, which was well received because it gets quite cold out on the water. There was a short interactive demonstration of some small sea animals on board for the kids. We saw some minke whales and porpoises, and some lazy seals. Even had a... More
