This review is a little unusual because the voyages I have taken were strictly "business". .. humpbacks whales, orcas and schools of dolphins were indeed seen, but the point of the journeys was going from A to B, not to view nature in the wild! Our usual local BC ferry service was out of commission for close to 3 weeks... More

“Grizzly Fun! Another thing to cross off the bucket list”

A fabulous day trip for locals and tourists alike. We had a wonderful adventure that included grizzlies as well as super gathering of white sided dolphins on our journey to Bute Inlet. We felt very safe and comfortable on the covered vessel and our skipper Geord really made it a memorable experience. More

This was our second grizzly tour to the Orford river but the first with this company. The guides tried their best but alas we saw no grizzlies that day. Folks do need to remember before they plunk down thousands of dollars that there is no guarantees with these tours. I was a little dissappointed to see that the companies ``Sightings``... More

Thank you very much for your honest feed back. We totally understand your disappointment of not having seen Grizzly bears on this tour. To avoid having disappointed guests returning from this tour, we don't start our Grizzly bear excursions at the beginning of the Grizzly Bear Viewing season until we receive confirmation that there has been sightings. The whale watching trip seems more expensive than others in the area but we were out all day with them - for 6.5 hours. Price includes a packed lunch at a beautiful bay that you can only get to by boat. All the other whale watching tours on the island last 2-3 hours only. So this is definitely worth the... More
