Since Survivor group has been filming in and out Caramoan, its best to visit this Place around November- Feb.. they film around March-July or August, depending on the schedule.. But usually, you cannot visit Matukad, Lahus and Gota for the 'contract" reasons between Camsur and Survivor.. That's what they say.. We went there MAy 2010 and yes, Survivor Israel is... More

It was our first day in Caramoan, and Matukad Island was one of the Islands on the first day of our itinerary. It was more than two hours from the port (I forgot the port :P) but worth the long wait and the big waves of the sea going to Matukad Island. From far away, we were so amazed with... More

The fine sand is Boracay-quality (though not as white). We even spread some on our back and felt good to the skin. Swim all you want and have your picture taken in atop a rock formation near the beach

This island has the whitest, finest sand of all the small islands in Caramoan. The beach is small and narrow but it is beautiful. Do come in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the crowds. Bring a picnic lunch or you can grill your own food in one of the corners by the rocks. There is a bit... More

Fine sand that strong winds can blow it .. turquoise clear water and rock formations like Palawan. Climbing on the laggon is not that easy, we're glad we both wearing sandals to protect our feet for that sharp rocks just to see the bangus. We camped overnight here with 1 gallon of water to rinse ourselves, suman and left over... More

This island has very fine sand, which is comparable to Boracay's! However, out of all the islands we visited in Caramoan, this one seems to attract a lot of crowd so we opted not to stay too long.

Powder dust sand.. Pristine water.. Unspoiled island.. Breathtaking view from the top ..overlooking a small lagoon.. Words are not really enough to express and describe the place.. You should go and check it out yourself...

There was quite a crowd, so we didn't linger much. It's not as easy as it looks, with the climbing the top to see a lagoon.

We came not really knowing what to expect and found breathtakingly beautiful beaches, islands and cliffs. This area is still relatively undeveloped and not over run with tourists yet. Most visitors are locals not many foreigners. Be assured this will change. Now is the time to visit

Matukad Island is definitely one of the best islands in Caramoan that you should not miss. The water is crystal clear and the sand is powdery white. This place is perfect for camping, swimming and photoshoot... On this island, there is a cliff that you can climb where you'll see a hidden lagoon with a big milkfish which is believed... More
