The 7 falls of the Sainte-Anne-du-Nord River (Les Sept Chutes) is only 45 minutes from Quebec City, and is probably one of the top 10 attractions in all of Quebec; yet it is hardly known and is poorly advertised. Pack a picnic and your hiking shoes, as there is 5 km of very well maintained hiking trails (mostly in the... More

These waterfalls were very beautiful, though not nearly as dramatic as Canyon St. Anne. The price for entrance seemed a little high for what it is.

Les Sept Chutes is located about 45 minutes out of Quebec City. If you enjoy waterfalls, I would also recommend visiting Canyon Ste-Anne (about 25 minutes from Les Sept Chutes). Adult admission to Les Sept Chutes is $12. They give you a map and there is one hike to see 5 of the waterfalls and then another hike to take... More

Excellent scenery and views. In fact hard to match in North America. Other literature does not give a fair picture of amount of time needed. To do attractions justice plan on spending 3-4 hours. Also, you should be in pretty good shape for this hike.

40 minutes on good roads, with a branch of the St. Lawrence beside you, brings you to a hike involving seven waterfalls and a tour of a small hydroelectric plant (all auotmated now and run from Montreal). As you might suspect, there's a lot of uphill, so this is not ideal for toddlers. Not much food available, either but bringing... More

It was a beautiful tour of the seven water falls (Les Sept-Chutes). We walked and took pictures, it was very beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful!! It is a semi demanding walk to some of the view points but well worth it! Some sites can be seen by most anyone, but others require some endurance, so wear appropriate footwear. We enjoyed the hike... More

Although this park was about a 45 min drive from Québec City, it was a nice daytrip. Unlike the Montmorency Falls that we passed on the way, it's away from the highway, and offers some nice short hikes along the 7 waterfalls and up to the dam, with beautiful views. The guided tour of the hydroelectric plant at the bottom... More

We absolutely adored this site. It is restful and beautiful, a perfect place for a picnic lunch. Bring your camera! Located about 30 minutes from Québec City.

On our last couple of visits to Quebec City, my wife and I decided to venture out of the "Old City" and see something different that we haven't in the past. We picked up a brochure for Les Sept-Chutes and thought we might check it out and we were glad we did! Although we were not fully prepared for the... More
