We walked from the Hotel Frontenac and the Dufferin Terrace to take the steps that led us up to the Citadel. We took our time and stopped a few times to admire the views of the river below and the Citadel above us. More

It's tough to miss this attraction as you walk through the old city. It is easier to start the walk from outside the city wall toward the Chateau Frontenac as this is all down-hill (down stairs). More

It is a little daunting when you come to the base of the stairs (Note: it is accessed by walking down the Dufferin Terrace away from the Chateau Frontenac).
