The theatre is downtown walking distance to most hotels, like the Queens Inn. The seats are close to the person in front of you, so if you are tall, get an aisle seat.

This is the theater where Justin Beiber sat on the steps of when he wasn't famous and played to passers by. Elaborate interior and comfortable seating for watching live theater. Good sound and nothing to block the view of the stage area. Very nice layout.

The theatre is marvellous and the plays outstanding. Going to the Avon to see a play or a musical is a delight and something that everyone should do.

Came to see the Pirates of Penzance and was not disappointed. Great theatre. Appreciate that the washrooms are so well taken care of considering how busy it can be with all the performances taking place.
