One of the most fascinating places I've seen in my life. Go at night and during the day. No rush, enjoy your surroundings and Nature's marvels. More

This is a great walk for almost all ages! This would be too challenging for very young or old to take in the full experience of the walk. Regardless you can just stay at the top and view the ocean and catch a peak of a whale or an iceberg. The walk is the true gem, great view of the... More

Good exercise to walk to the top if you can and then walk back around the hill to The Battery and back into town. Beautiful scenery and the tower is very interesting with all it's history. The travel information site was closed when we were there in May. More

It was really windy, I suppose it always is up there but the view is incredible! I hope you guys will enjoy the walk, you can acess signal hill from St-john's, you just need to walk around the harbour going North and there is a path that follows the hill! More

I loved the view, it was awesome. I sat on the wall for an hour looking over the ocean. You can look out over the city or the harbor. When we were there in April, you could see a beautiful iceberg. My husband is a photo man and I thought I would have to leave him there, he was having... More

One of the few places you can see a full view of the entire city. Very short drive from downtown to the castle on the top of the hill where the original telegraphs where sent and received. If you're feeling energetic, you can walk down to the battery a bit further below, or to the lowlands well below the castle. More

Signal Hill is one of the jewels in the crown of St. John's liveability. You can literally walk from downtown St. John's to a cliff side perch on Signal Hill where you can find a spot to tuck yourself away and see nothing but the groundcover and rock beneath you and ocean and horizon ahead. This is the one of... More

Great views. The Atlantic in one direction and St. John's on the other. A must- see to get a sense of the whole area. Can hike in either direction. Can be very windy. Visit the nearby Johnson Geo Centre. Worth it, especially if you are with kids. More

Great bit of history, well maintained park which provides a great view of St. John's and surrounding area. Beware of the winds (hang on to your hats)! More
