If you don't like outdoor activities you can walk to and around Lost Lake instead. Possibility of seeing black bears as well.

Biking trails excellent. Easy access: walking from village, biking or driving (car park). Lovely swimming spot though the water is too cold in May. Great for animal lovers with dogs. Warming hut.

We had a beautiful time walking to Lost Lake and around and then back to the Hotel.

Went to lost lake a couple of times. It looked like a fun place to chill and take a dip. We rode our bikes around the lake which I suggest over just hanging out at the beach area with everyone else. It's beautiful there but then again everywhere in Whistler is beautiful.

We had a really lovely walk to lost lake, which is only a short stroll from the centre of whistler village. It's a perfect sized walk for a lazy afternoon. It's nice that there are plenty of benches round the lake to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. Just lovely.

Lost lake park has a lot of trails around the lake that are well groomed and lit at night. Water has been low 50's (i think...) in mid May so a few brave souls are swimming. Swim platforms are scattered in the lake for a great place to lay out. Nice grassy lawns to set up a spot to lay...

went for walk to the lake....it was nothing special.Seem to be the spot for local young people to spend the day.

Nice walking/hiking route. Just miss cross country ski season. That would have been nice.

We walked from Whistler centre on still snow covered well marked trail and eventually found Lost Lake. One canoe on the lake gave this the iconic Canadian setting with the surrounding trees and snow-capped mountains (a photo opportunity I missed by the time I produced my camera). There are lots of pontoons from which to swim and an extensive area...
