We are a family business offering unparalleled service and location. Five Star Charters Whale Watching is proud to help you discover the picturesque West Coast of Canada, and Vancouver Island, home to the largest population of Killer Whales (Orcinus Orca) in the world. Very Knowledgeable staff that spotted whales for us to see. Informative about species and area around Victoria. Enjoyable and comfortable catamaran trip even though some very rough water during our trip. Would definitely do again. More

We did the trip on an afternoon excursion. It seems the previous day was awesome compared with our sightings. That's the nature of these activities - there can be no guarantee. That said, we had a lot of sightings of Orca and a couple of Humpback (close). The staff were excellent and worked hard to make the experience a positive... More

I had so much fun on this adventure! Got to see lots of whales, the weather was beautiful, lots of room on the boat to move around and the guides were awesome. They were very friendly and definitely knew their stuff. More

Our best outdoor trip ever. Our guide, Nick, was extremely friendly and very helpful. We couldn't believe how many whales we saw. I'd highly recommend the trip. My wife, easily seasick, was shocked at how stable the boat was. She didn't have a worry in the least. Thank you, Randy and Jean, Grand Prairie, Texas More

We were fortunate to book onto this excursion with only 20 other people, so there was more than enough room for everyone to have a great seat or spot at the rail. We only saw one humpback who surfaced a number of times, but compared to how close/well positioned other boats seemed to be, we still got the best view... More

My husband and I were one of the very lucky guests onboard the Five Star SuperCat on the morning of Sunday 11th September and it was spectacular. As this was our first time to go Whale Watching we would have been delighted to see one little fin. Instead, many pods of orcas splashed around and passed our vessel it was... More

This was our first experience with whale watching. We definitely got much more than we expected. We were referred to Five Star Whale Watching by word of mouth. Upon further review through Trip Advisor, we decided this was the whale watching company for us. My spouse is a bit more prone to sea-sickness, so there was a bit of concern.... More

We were so pleased with our experience with Five Star Whale Watching. My wife had just had knee replacement surgery seven weeks prior to our whale watching expedition and the crew was so accomodating of her. The guides were very informative and personal. Thanks for the great experience! Tom Harries Kansas, USA More

We've wanted to go whale watching for a number of years and this year we finally went with Five Star. What a top notch company! We knew that whales can be unpredictable and there are no guarantees but we ended up seeing a minke whale right beside the catamaran and many orcas. There was lots of room to ride inside... More

5starwhales really took good care of us as they took us out of Victoria to see the whales. Just minutes out of Victoria we came across a pod of porpoises which started the excitement to the journey. Later on we saw a large gathering of birds with a minke whale right in the middle of them! One whale came right... More
