Just a few streets but certainly very interesting historically. A lot of the shops along Fan Tan Alley have closed down but the stores along the main drag were fine. We stopped and had a cup of bubbletea which was delicious but pricey.

They state that Victoria "HAD" the second largest China Town is North America. Second only to San Francisco's which I've been too... I think "HAD" is the important word here. With the exception of the China Town Gate and some Chinese looking lamp posts, china town is about a bock long. Other streets in the area seem to have little... More

Chinatown is very small - one block long, with a bit of spillover here and there. It has several good restaurants and interesting shops. Great place for a family outing.

Don Mee's restaurants great food, great people and a great time. The food is the best in Victoria. Great little shops. fresh seafood and veggies right on the street in the old style China town way. don't forget to visit world famous Fan tan alley the worlds narrowest ally and the shops it has.

I've always loved Chinatown in Victoria. The shops, filled with paper lanterns, colourful toys. Fresh fruit and vegetables available here - good place to purchase your afternoon snack. Nice energy here. Great for family or solo exploring.
