It has shops (boutique and expensive) a small library - some scattered coffee shops and a large grocery store - but a real mix-bag that could be found a bit more affordable in Kits or Commercial Drive or Main Street

For medium to high end, this "village" lacks a feel of a "village area". Just like any ordinary strip mall. A number of store assistance lack quality service experience, snobby and are more concerned in how much "money we were prepared to drop". Lack of class.

South Granville never comes to mind as a destination spot for visiting friends or family. It contains no tourist attractions, no box stores, no malls. Think of it more as a commercial strip containing small businesses, food markets, several banks and connivence stores. It's greatest claim is most people pass through it going to and from the Vancouver Airport.

Most of the shops were not inspiring.Mixed in with the boring ones or the typical shops with branches in every city are some interesting unique shops.

South Granville - lots of higher end store, shops, restaurantsand art galleries. Centrally located. About 2 km ( 1 mile) from Granville Island.

we love living near the bustle of GS. restaurants, boutiques, galleries and more.

Although located next to some of the most expensive houses in Vancouver this area tends to have unique ideas without exorbatent prices.

Great place to walk and shop. Cool boutiques with funky restaurants mixed in with very high end dining. South Granville has it all.
