I didn't spend much time downtown, but the one night I did go searching for dinner, I have to say I was a little intimidated (I was alone) and ended up back at my hotel anyway. It's just another downtown, really.
You can get a lot of variety in there like Chinese, Indian food; but at night its not safe...there are many homeless wandering and sometimes they even bother you.

This has to be the cleanest city I've ever visited. If you stay downtown you'll find it's really convenient to walk to many of the downtown attractions. For us, we could walk to Gastown in less than 10 minutes; Chinatown was about 15 minutes away. It's worth the visit.

Vancouver is so diversified with any type of restaurant you wish - seafood is a specialty of Vancouver as we're right on the coast. Vancouver is one of the cleanest cities in the world, if not THE cleanest - people welcome visitors here.

We were there with 8 other friends before gong to billy Elliott, the restaurant was booked chalk a block and there service was fast efficient,...
