Go there for the best view of the city of Vancouver. There is a lookout car park half way up the mountain.
The view is amazing! I didnt go skiing but was awesome. I took tons of photos in this area and visited it twice.

The slopes in this station are shorts but wnderful. Good snow quality and amazing views. Skiing around the trees and seeing the sea and the islands from the slopes. The Provincial PArk is close to Vancouver, only 15 minutes by car and there are so many different hiking trails and nice views.
This is well worth the drive in either winter or summer. Unlike Grouse Mountain, access is free (but I believe you have to pay for parking). The area is good for both downhill and cross-country skiing, and hiking if there's no snow. In the winter, there's a warming hut with hot drinks. The view is lovely! Just don't go if...

For memorable views of Vancouver Cypress is hard to beat making it must-do drive for any visitor in summer. Winter skiing is OK, but you must factor in that it is a coastal mountain with uncertain snow conditions. Snowshoeing can be lots of fun with many available trails. Cypress for many locals is at its best when used for bike...

In winter I ski, both downhill and cross country. The runs and trails are well maintained and the staff very friendly. The views from the top of the two peaks in the downhill area are beautiful when it's clear. The warming hut in the cross country area is a wonderful throw back from days gone bye, with a very rustic...

I have done this trail for the first time and it is THE trail where you enjoy already once you're on it! It's not just destination-type trail, where you crave to see the lookout or the view.
I love the top of the Black Mountain lakes with wooden trails and the forest. The finale - the view is spectacular. When...

We went during summer, and there are some breathtaking viewing points along the way. Once at the top, where the ski site is, there is nothing much but the Olympic rings for some tourist shots. But it is clearly a popular ski site, you could see the brown, trees and plants devoid ski paths cut through the mountains.
