I've been visiting Kits Beach on and off for 45 years and it really hasn't changed much - which is good! Besides its sandy beach, it provides fantastic views of the sea and mountains. There are tennis courts, playground areas and plenty of spots to sit back and relax. The city has done an admirable job maintaining it.

Great views of the skyline of Vancouver! My wife and I came to Kits beach on a Monday morning while it was 60 degrees (Farenheit) and sunny, and the scenery couldn't have been any more gorgeous! Great shots of the snow-capped mountains in the background, with the city of Vancouver in front. I'm sure it's a great place to hang... More

Kits Beach is awesome for walking, running or bringing kids to the park and dogs to the beach. If you down the beach there are some stairs near the Maritime Museum and a small enclosed beach below for your dog to play. A great way to get a run in and some scenery is to run along the seawall to... More

walked the boardwalk all along the beach past the parks and museums. Down the shore and had lunch in the nearby Starbucks. Not many Timmys out in BC

Want great views of mountains & ocean, gentle sea breezes, beach volleyball (in the summer)....this is the place...the seawall stroll takes you by green parks, sandy beaches, lovely homes...runners & walkers use the pathways for regular exercise, parents walk their kids in strollers, dog owners walk their pets....all ages enjoy the scenery and the other people partaking in a typical... A really lovely beach walk even when it's pelting down with rain. Lovely view of the harbor and mountains surrounding Vancouver.

Liked the locations. I liked the fact that although it is a beach there are basketball courts nearby and playgrounds as well as a delightful seaside restaurant. Loved watching the boats sail across the water. Simply beautiful.
