The board walk is superb and has been extremely maintained. It's so peaceful to walk to through the forest before getting to the springs.

this was a good trip out but was a long boat ride and because there was fog we didn't see anything. This was a very nice walk through the forest and dip in the springs I don't think it was worth the $119 for the tour to get there though!

We took the hot springs cove excursion with The Whale Centre in Tofino early in August 2012. it was an overcast day so they used their covered cabin boat which had capacity for 12 persons. The guide was a local and so knowledgeable about the area. The trip to the hot springs cove took about 30 to 45 minutes depending... More

We were a bit disappointed on this excursion. The boat ride in was beautiful. The boardwalk hike was gorgeous (but a bit slippery). The Hotsprings are extremely small - there were only 6 people when we were there and it was very crowded. I can't imagine it in a busier season. The rocks are extremely slippery - water shoes are... This place is beautiful, and the water is HOT, and the half hour hike in is fantastic as well. Please, PLEASE wear water shoes when you go and be careful with your footing. Two people on my trip slipped on the rocks, one just a scrape, and the other badly injured their ankle. We could not seem to find an... More

A most wonderful nature and primitive hot spring experience!! Great trip to get there. Best to go in the off season or shoulder season to be assured of a more singular experience. Very worthwhile.

I took a boat ride over from Tofino ( good advice I got, get a group of people to go with you and ask for a discount), walked through a beautiful rainforest and then soaked up the warm waters of a natural spring as it flowed to the ocean.

We travelled by water with Ocean Adventures to Hot Springs Cove. The water ride was about one and half hours through west coast beauty. There is a 45 minute walk into Hot Springs cove through North Pacific rainforest. The walk is on boardwalk with lots of up and down so a good workout for us. When we got to the... More

I loved the boardwalk through the forest - allow up to 40 minutes for this and wear proper footwear for slippery wood. It's an ancient forest dripping with texture and calm so by the time you reach the hotsprings you are ready to lay back in a hot pool of your choice and relax and enjoy the incredible scenery. The... Take a water taxi or tour boat from Tofino. From the dock at the park, hike on well constructed board walk for 30 minutes through beautiful old growth forest. Up and down stairs can be an issue for folks with knee problems as there are no handrails. BUT it is soooo worth the hike to be able to sit in... More
