Love long beach great place to walk or jog, the open ocean is great to watch on stormy days. Dislikes nothing to complain about.

What's not to love. Firm sand, Miles to walk. Various beach breaks and also forest walks. All good. Of course, you can't star gaze - you have to be out before the sun goes down. And no fires. But that's progress folks.

Long Beach is a must! The sand wonderful! Whether or not you go for a picnic, siwm in the water, play in the waves...or just nap...or watch the surfers..it is a place for everyone. Dogs can run, children can play! The parking can be a challenge but it is still worth going to!

Despite having to pay for stopping here (I have mixed feelings about charging for day use in Canada's National Parks), it is worth stopping here for at least an hour to experience a superlative sandy beach. Listen to the surf, smell the salt, and if it is warm enough wade into the ocean.

this long, nearly lonely beach is the place to get your head free of any thoughts troubling you...so relaxed after a long walk up and down...only thing...the expencive parking ... :(

What a great place to walk the sands of the Pacific coast. Take a picnic and sit on the logs or bring a blanket to sit on the beach. And there are the surfers to watch. Even in rough sea states noted by the posted signs of high or even extreme surf conditions, there will be people in the water.... More

Miles of sandy beach, great for a long walk to enjoy the crashing surf, the surfers taking on the challenge or just to enjoy the fresh air in a stunning location. A must when you come to the area.

As always Long Beach was impressive. The strong winds whipped the waves up and the spray was blowing far. There seemed to be more debris on the beach than I recalled seeing on previous visits. If you like walking on beaches, this is a good place to be.
