Our family of five, 1 senior, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, recently visited The Raptors. What a super experience. We began with the Hawk Encounter (though there are many to choose from) which included meeting many of the bird residents and learning interesting facts from our informed guide. He then demonstrated how to wear the glove and to receive the... More

I personally feel its way over priced as a bird zoo. The real attraction is when they hold the free-flying demonstrations. Saw an eagle, hawk, and owl flying within arms reach at times. Amazing to see these creatures up close and flying freely so close, responding to the trainers. Great show. Check show times to plan your arrival time, otherwise... More

You sit on benches very close to the handler and the birds make passes almost directly overhead and very low.

Very simple exhibit but very cool to see these big birds up close and in action. Staff were pleasant. Washroom and facility could have used some more regular cleaning, but not a big deal.

Went for my first time in September. Neat, but make sure you go on a day with flying demonstrations to get your moneys worth.

This place is a under rated for what you see. Upon comining here with my grand kids school outing ,I wondered what it was relly about. But when you sit and watch the performance of those beautiful birds and the handlers, you realize it is a beautiful expierence that one should not miss.
