The Banff Gondola takes you up an almost vertical mountainside to a viewing area from which you can see all over the town and valley. It was quite cold up there! (Mid-May) but well worth the trip. A long cable car ride to the top of the mountain offering incredible views of the town and surroundings (obviously weather dependent). The ride was amazing and supper was beyond words well worth the time and money! The prime rib supper included all the trimmings and the portions were more than enough!!

We had been here before but every time we ride to the top of the gondola the ride is just magic. Excellent views, good explanations of how the gondola was built, good hikes from the top or from the bottom. Today was a gorgeous day and that helped, but in any day the gondola is a highlight of Banff.

Great view from the mountain but the gondola is way overprized. Tourist rip-off like many other attractions. But it's clean and the restaurant up top isn't all too bad.

liked that they told us it was very cloudy up there before we bought our tickets. bought them any ways got few minutes of clear view then clouds . On cloudy days it would be nice if they discount it bet more people would buy tickets.

A little expensive per person for a gondola ride, but the views are epic. There are walkways and different spots to shoot pics from. Definitely worth it, but only go on a clear day.
